Hello I'm using two screens on my computer since yesterday. I often run two instances of FF, each per screen. I've noticed that my pinned apptabs disappeared after closing FF. I'll watch FF's behavior to precise the circumstances this happens

Are that multiple windows that use the same profile folder or are that multiple Firefox instances each with their own profile?

If only one profile is used then you need to use File > Exit to close all open windows at once.

Use one of these to close Firefox if you are currently doing that by clicking the close X on the Firefox title bar.

  • "3-bar" menu button > Exit (Power button)
  • Windows: File > Exit
  • Mac: Firefox > Quit Firefox
  • Linux: File > Quit

I might check that the profiles that are running with he separate instances to see what settings are for start up.

Adding a -p will let you start the instance with the profile manager.
