If you open the file manager app on your device and find the Downloads folder - that is where your files should be.

I'm having the same problem. I checked the download folder on my android tablet and the files I downloaded when using private browsing. Where can they located (the download folder is my default).

With new firefox android, files saved from private/incognito tab do not show up anywhere in downloads, documents, photos etc. The "saved" box shows up when you first save file, but files do not exist anywhere when you look. One help thread talked about needing firefox for android version 81 or higher, but Google store only has version 80.xx.x.. There are lots of bugs in new Firefox android.
