Adobe has stopped supporting the Android Flash Player Plugin back on September 10 2013 as the last version was 11.1.115.81

Some websites currently needs a much more newer branch of Flash Player.

Its strange because some videos on youtube will play but others will not because the flash player.

you can update your flash player maybe have a part corrupt wen installed or update

Last Flash Player update for the Android OS was back in Sept 2013.

When I tried to install the package file it said that a package with the same name is already installed.

Some websites just do not support older branches of Adobe Flash Player like the 11.1 used by Android and BlackBerry PlayBook and also the still supported (by Adobe) 11.2 ESR branch for Linux.

News related websites are among those I have found that oftentimes have the need to update Flash message for Linux version over that past couple years.

HTML5 for video is getting more used as time goes on.
