I use Loqui IM on my Firefox OS phone. When I listen to audio files sent via Loqui, the transfered file, saved on the SD card in the folder Loqui, opens via the music app. But after launching the music app to listen to music, it adds all files from SD card, including those audio files, to the music list. The music files I want to hear are in only one folder called music.

In the end, the first 20 "songs" are actually some memos from friends of mine in the part of the app where one can browse through all songs by title.

I understand that there is also a default media folder that can be changed in the Storage settings. (see attached screenshot)

Does changing this folder to just the music folder affect the Loqui app?

Please also contact the Loqui Developers to see if they can help.

I am sorry, the only option to change there is to set the default destination for saving files to internal storage.

There is no parameters for the music app. It search every audio file of your sd card so you can't "hide" sounds in a folder. You should open a bug in bugzilla to correct your problem, it can be really usefull.
