Provide the crash reports so we can troubleshoot the crash.

1. Enter about:crashes in the address bar (that's where you enter your website URL) and press Enter. You should now see a list of submitted crash reports.
2. Copy the 5 most recent crash ID's that you see in the crash report window and paste them into your response here.

Also you can disable hwa in firefox.

You might need to restart Firefox in order for this to take effect, so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).

Then perform these steps:

• Click the orange Firefox button at the top left, then select the "Options" button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to Tools > Options.
• In the Firefox options window click the Advanced tab, then select "General".
• In the settings list, you should find the Use hardware acceleration when available checkbox. Uncheck this checkbox.
• Now, restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.

Additionally, please check for updates for your graphics driver by following the steps mentioned in the following Knowledge base articles:

• Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems

• Upgrade your graphics drivers to use hardware acceleration and WebGL

It may also be a addon so launch firefox into safe mode.

(If you're not using it, switch to the Default theme.)

• You can open Firefox 4.0+ in Safe Mode by holding the Shift key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
• Or open the Help menu and click on the Restart with Add-ons Disabled... menu item while Firefox is running.

Once you get the pop-up, just select "'Start in Safe Mode"

If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. Please follow the Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems article for that.

To exit the Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before opening Firefox for normal use again.

Maybe I didn't describe my issue properly...The application locks/crashes within 5 seconds. I can barely access anything even with multiple tries to QUICKLY access something before it locks/crashes. It took me a couple dozen tries just to set the restore.xxx.xxx to false before FireFox crashed.

I submitted the crash reports in the second text block when I created this post. I will add them below as well.

I ran the Font Book Validation:

• 461 fonts passed
• 37 with minor problems indicated
• 8 with serious problems found

I have removed the 8 serious problems fonts.

Does firefox still crash, you could have reinstalled the fonts.

Waka already had me run a font check.

I removed the broken 8 and Firefox still crashes within 5 seconds of opening.

Everything on my computer is up to date. No updates required by any programs. Safari, works just fine.

Did you remove duplicate fonts as well?

Yes.

Just cleaned out fonts again and it still crashes.

Still continues to crash. Anyone else have any thoughts as to why?
