Re: Internet security threat contained in Firefox 3.6.16 (en US) update.
Earlier today (March 23, 2011) I updated my Firefox software after being alerted to the availability of the update. At 4:23 PM EDT my Norton Internet Security software detected the security Threat "WS.Reputation.1" while I was using my Firefox browser. The Norton software instructed me to restart my computer to complete the quarantine of the following Firefox software modules containing the security threat: xpcom.dll, nssdbm3.dll, nssckbi.dll, smime3.dll, nss3.dll, ssl3.dll, nssvtil3.dll, mozcppl9.dll, mozcrtl9.dll, brwsrcmp.dll, freebl3.dll, plds4.dll, browserdirprovider.dll, nspr4.dll, xul.dll, sqlite3.dll, js3250.dll, plc4.dll, softokn3.dll. I am unable to use my Firefox browser with these files quarantined. Thank you.

Seems like Norton is incorrectly quarantining the new files, please see http://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-Internet-Security-Norton/WS-Reputaion-1-false-positives/m-p/232066/highlight/true#M112269
Thank you for the timely response. I will be awaiting Symantec's fix. Thank you.
