installing thunderbird 115.70 on a new win 10 pc error cam up mailbox already exist
installing thunderbird version 115.7 an exeption occurred: email box already excists, no way when installing a new win 10 computer. version 12.115 works fine. is this a buc in version 115.7 ??

got hte same problem in tb version 115.8 the overview of established connection in TB is missing the ad button. that will cure it.
Try having a look in the account settings and finding the account that already exists. I have never heard of the error occurring where a duplicate account was not already in Thunderbird's profile.
What about outgoing server (smtp)? It has to be somewhere or you would not get the error.
the problem is that somewhere in the profile file it keeps old settings when installing a new version of TB its impossible the create a new account on that email address than! it would be nice if the change function in account setting was also able the reset incoming and outgoing servers to edit usernames and pw. as it was in version 102.115.1
