how do i stop firefox opening my pdf files. i have set adobe as my default yet it still keeps using firefox. I have also changed the settings in adobe, without success. I will stop using firefox if this cannot be fixed. it drive me nuts

If there is no other solution, you can disable Firefox as a pdf viewer by making the following preference in about:config true. pdfjs.disabled

Try right-clicking your document, then "Open with..." That works for me.
