All emails have a load of information in the headers, but usually you do not need to see all the headers.

Thunderbird offers two views regarding the headers. Full shows everything and useful in a number of circumstances. Most people prefer a short view showing eg: FROM, TO, SUBJECT, DATE

Do this: Menu app icon ≡ > View > Headers > select 'Normal'
