Hi Folks, I have different mail accounts - one at GMX and one at google. However - my main e-mail address is the GMX address and couldn't be changed to gmail so easyly. But - as calendar I'll only use my gmail calendar. If I get a invitation on my GMX account, the calendar entry will be stored also in GMX and I am not able to change the calendar, that's used. If I crate a own event, I am able to select the account to be used and I can change the account & calendar for an existing event entry later on. So - I'd like to define the gmail calendar to be used also for invitations that are coming via my GMX account - or to change the calendar later on exactly as it works for own created events. Is there a solution to do that? If not, is it planned or can it be foreseen for the future? Thanks in advance! Uwe.

If you want event invitations sent to your GMX account to be stored in the Google Calendar, you'll have to assign your GMX email address to the Google Calendar.
Note, this has got nothing to do with your Google account, it's just the means for Thunderbird to match email invitations to the desired calendar.

Open the Calendar tab in Thunderbird, right-click the Google Calendar - Properties.
From the Email drop-down menu, select your GMX account.

Hi Christ1, thanks for reply. That sounds good - but: in the Options of the google calendar using "googleapi://..." there's no "e mail"-Dropdown. In the other calendars - e.g. in the GMX or local calendar, there is such a dropdown menu... I am sorry, but this doesn't work...

I'm not sure what method you use to connect to your Google Calendar (Provider add-on, TbSync?). I do use CalDAV, and I do have an email drop-down menu in the Google Calendar Properties.
