Unable to download Thunderbird on Windows 10
About a month ago I elected to download free Windows 10 over W7. Successful. My Windows Live Mail 2011 was preserved thru the download and it worked fine for weeks. Starting three days ago I have been unable to call up WLM 2011. After waiting about five minutes this alert appears "Windows Live Mail could not be started. It may not be installed correctly. Make sure that your disk is not full or that you are not out of memory. (OX80041161)" My disk is not full and I am not out of memory. I have attempted to install Mozilla Thunderbird. PROBLEM! After I click on the green FREE DOWNLOAD button, I click RUN, and then see a 100% extraction completed. The entire download stops at that point. There is no alert or warning. Simply nothing ever happens after that. HELP please. Thanks. 7/2/16

Save the installer to your disk.
christ1, I'm not clear on what you are advising.
I attempted to download again. Selected SAVE instead of RUN. That gave me a listing of all downloads of which four were Thunderbird. I selected one of the listings to OPEN and nothing changed. Can you be more specific on "save the installer to your disk" ? Thanks
Selected SAVE instead of RUN.
That was the idea.

I have no idea what that means. Basically you save the Thunderbird installer from the Mozilla web site to your disk, e.g. to your desktop. Once it completely downloaded you run it (it's an .exe file).
