why does my hotmail (mozilla) always open in preview mode? I can't get out of it.
Preview mode used to be optional. But now, on my other computer (windows pc also), when i open my email, it always shows (preview) when reading/using my hotmail. Thus, the reading area is too large. Help me get out of it and go back to normal reading in my emails. Thanks!

Is this a preview area within the normal "Outlook" layout, or do you have a split tab with a movable divider the same color as the tab bar?
Some users end up having content in Firefox's sidebar on the left instead of where they want it, in the actual main tab area. That problem usually is caused by using a bookmark set by a website. You can right-click the bookmark, choose Properties, then uncheck the box for opening it in the sidebar.
If the problem is not related to the sidebar, you can drag the border between the message list and the preview area to adjust how much space each uses. When you are over that border, the normal "arrow" mouse pointer should change to one that shows two thin parallel lines with little arrows pointing outward from each side. It's something I can't take a screenshot of, but you'll know it when you see it.
