I can't get my download manager or download status bar add-ons to work after installing Firefox 23 update.
I just installed the update for Firefox 23. Now my download manager and download status bar add-ons don't work. I can't monitor the progress of any of my downloads. I tried rer-installing Firefox and the add-ons but it doesn't work. How can I fix this so I can monitor my downloads?

What are the names of the addons you are having problems with?
Got the same problem since upgrading. apparently Download Statusbar is incompatible with FF 23 .
Specifically, The Downloads button - down arrow next to the Home button - does NOT flash green to alert when I begin downloading a file. It seems to be non-functional since upgrading to FF 23. Prior to the upgrade it worked. During downloads, the arrow icon used to change into a timer bar as stated in your features. Clicking this icon still brings up the Downloads panel however, it reflects the download failed EVEN though the actual download does appear in my files.

delete the localstore.rdf in the firefox profile folder.

I solved my problem. I removed the addon Download Statusbar and installed Download Panel Tweaker ;o) and am able once again to view status of downloads. Thanks everyone for the responses!

I deleted the Download Statusbar Add-on and now my downloads panel works again...little green glowing arrow and all. Thankfully this was a simple fix!
