Firefox Sync Restore

So I just reformatted my computer and had setup firefox synch previously the first format, I had all of my bookmarks, history, autofill etc running swimmingly, all seemed well. then when I had to reformat again (somehow my MBR got corrupted, don't ask I'm not even sure how that happened) less than 12 hours later I went to synch my things again, but lo and behold no history, bookmarks, or any of that shenanigans, I tried merging this computers data with the synch data but it looks like somehow my synch data was overwritten. I was just wondering is there like a restore point setup for synch information so I can just go to a previous version of my synch data. everything else is running swimmingly and I'd just like my bookmarks back (I'm keeping track of multiple series of anime's that I'd rather not forget about for like 2-3 years because I'm an airhead) any help would be appreciated and if there is no way of restoring to a previous set of synch data then it is what it is, thanks in advance
