Unable to use Mendeley Web Importer

I am using Firefox and Mendeley Reference Manager on a Macbook Air. For days I have been unable to use Mendeley Web Importer. I have it installed in Firefox I have used the latest software for Mendeley Web Importer 3.0 (I was made to believe that it is the latest version), I have refreshed Firefox and I have even deleted Firefox and reinstalled on my computer, I have tried customizing Firefox. The symbol for Mendeley Web Importer does not show up ind the collection of similar Add-ons (I hope that this is the correct term).

I would safe me quite a bit of time, if I could use the web importer. Can you help?

Hi, is it this one: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/mendeley-web-importer/

Does its icon appear on the list that drops from the Extensions (puzzle piece) button? The following article has more info on that:

Manage your extensions using the extensions button in the toolbar

If it is not listed there, click the text at the bottom to proceed to the Add-ons page. Is the extension listed there in the Enabled section?

If it's in the Disabled section, click its slider switch to enable it.

If it isn't available even after enabling, is it possible you are browsing in a private window: Extensions in Private Browsing.
