Unable to change new tab background color even with firefox colors

I REALLY hate the colorless background! I just want to change it into a different solid color. I don't want to change my theme, I just want a different background color. Trying to use firefox colors just changes my theme into a nasty pink without even changing the background color. Nothing works.

Hi

What background are you referring to?

Hi What background are you referring to?

Just when you first open a new tab with the search bar and stuff. The background is white. We can change the color of the top of our tabs but not the white background. Even though I managed to change the color by now it also changes the color of websites I visit. I would like to just be able to change the white without screwing anything else up.

This isn't much of a question though because I've since realized that's just the way it is with firefox for some reason. I put in a suggestion for it and that's going to have to be that.

Hi there, Apologies, although I believe that there has been a misunderstanding here. I believe the background you are talking to is on Firefox for Windows or macOS, despite this being the forum for iOS. If it is, then you can simply use Firefox Colors (https://color.firefox.com). It should be somewhere in Advanced, although I forget what specific option it was. If you still can't find it, let me know and I'll take a look for you.

Thanks and have a great day!
