bookmarks for android

When I open firefox, I click on "bookmarks". This opens "desktop bookmarks". When I click on that, it opens 3 others: Bookmark menu Bookmark toolbar Other bookmarks If I click on "bookmark toolbar", it opens "bookmarks". After all of this, I click on bookmarks and it FINALLY opens my bookmark list. Why do I have to go through so many links just to open my list? What am I doing wrong and how can I fix it to only show bookmarks/my list? I have an android tablet and phone. The problem only occurs with android, not with my windows 10 desktop.

Hi

I understand that this folder structure is there so that bookmarks can be syncced with Firefox on a desktop using Firefox Sync.

Is there a way to avoid clicking on all of these and just have one bookmarks folder to click on my android devices? If not, I would hope Mozilla could add it to the program. Thanks for your help!

There are a number of open issues that we have looking at improving the bookmarking experience, listed at https://github.com/mozilla-mobile/fenix/issues?q=is%3Aissue+is%3Aopen+folders - hopefully this gives some idea of the work that we plan to do and hopefully make available in future updates.
