I am running the latest version of Thunderbird on a laptop. All mail filters work automatically except the "after send" filter. That will work if I manually run the filters but not otherwise. It is a pain. Anyone have a solution?

as filter are per account, are you sure you have it in the right account?

Next is Thunderbird making copies of mail to filter? many folks have Thunderbird copies disabled if they use outlook.com or gmail because those providers make their own copies. Copies that have to be downloaded later, and are not available at the time of sending to move or copy anywhere.
