My Thunderbird started this a.m. like a fresh install

When I went to bed last night everthing was right with the world.. This a.m. started my PC, ran thnderbird and its like a fresh install, No mail accounts, mail, folders, etc.. What the heck happened ?... Nothing else on my PC seems to have been changed..
