new mail not highlighted on Catalina

I am running TB on a Mac. Previously new mail would have a new mail indicator AND it would appear bold in the list. After recently updating to Catalina only the new mail splat is on but the bold appearance of unread mail no longer happens. Is this how it will look going forward or is there a preference where I can turn this back on?

The blue/black bold of the folder name where there is unread mail is still working fine.
