Why does my icloud mail gives a parce error on my Windows 10 PC?

Suddenly Thunderbird on my PC will send icloud mail, but cannot receive it. It says "parce error". The iCloud mail works on all other devices, and on the iCloud for Windows app, via the internet. I have a 2nd account using Thunderbird and it works fine.

I don't know if it will help you, but it's worth checking to see if you have the correct settings and password.

Does Icloud account use 2-factor authentication ? Are you using an application specific password ?

Yes, I am using an app specific password. This started about a month ago only Thunderbird. I haven't changed anything. I have spoken to Apple, and they were unable to fix it. Thanks.
