Tracking Protection in Firefox is intended to block Trackers, not ads. While this sometimes means that ads will be blocked, it's not the main purpose of it. What happened to Tracking Protection? can explain more about what Tracking Protection is meant to do

oh okay, i think i got confused then, cause i was reading it would block ads and stuff as well, at least that's what it's saying in the settings for me.
