Global Usenet Filters?
Is there any way to have your Usenet filters run on all subfolders of an account?
For example, I subscribe to half-a-dozen different groups on Usenet. Almost all of them have authors who cross-post to all or most of those groups. I would like to be able to make global filters that apply to all those groups, so I don't have to go into each individual folder, and duplicate the same filters again and again, every time I want to change something.

Hi Lee, In the Message Filters window, click on the drop-down menu beside Filters for. Above the list of newsgroups, select the name of the server/account. I've attached a screenshot as an example.
The filters created there will apply to all newsgroups in the account.

It kind of works, but sometimes, to get it to filter, I have to manually open filters, select the main account folder where I made the rules, then manually select the folder I want to apply the filter to, then run it. It didn't always filter automatically. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
