
email of old account still tries to log in, I need the email on there, it is pop
I switched servers for my small business. The old email account I removed the "Check for new messages at startup" but I still get an "error with account XXXXXOak......goes on from there ending with Authentication failed. The email is a pop account
How do I stop this from happening? I need the emails from that account. Can I move them to my new account and delete the old one? Will I need to pdf them and save them that way (hard to search on them that way)?
Any advice will be appreciated.

Make folders under the Local Folders account and copy the messages there. When you are sure the messages copied okay and you can read them you can delete the messages under the old account and delete it. I prefer to copy instead of move in case something goes wrong with the move you still have the originals.

Worked like a charm. I knew I could do local folders, just didn't realize how helpful they could be.
