I would go to Start and type msconfig in search field and press Enter . Click on StartUp tab and disable everything there and Apply . Restart computer . When it restarts ,you will probably have to start your antivirus manually for the first time and in the future will probably start as usual whenever you turn computer on . What this does is ...turns off all programs that start whenever you start your computer without you even noticing ,and perhaps one of those programs is slowing down everything else . Do not touch anything in any other tab except Startup .
