remember logins for sites is grayed out and can't check it
I want mozilla to remember logins and passwords when I login websites. I can't check the box to do this.

Make sure you do not run Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode (Always use Private Browsing mode; Never Remember History).
- Options/Preferences -> Privacy -> Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history"
- Deselect: [ ] "Always use Private Browsing mode"
