Firefox is not recognizing my Dashlane for my passwords

I have Windows 8.1 and have been using Dashlane & Firefox for years. Recently had a problem with Internet Explorer which the 'Geek Squad' fixed. Since that firefox is not recognizing Dashlane

Be sure the Dashlane logo is displayed at the far right:

If not: 

   Close all your browsers and check in Windows Task Manager (CTRL +      SHIFT + ESC) that there are no active processes with your browsers. ...
   Open Dashlane and go to the Extensions menu.
   Choose Uninstall Firefox extension (if you are prompted to Install Firefox extension instead, install it and you are done here).
   Launch Firefox, and close it.
   Go back to the Extensions menu, and choose to Install Firefox extension this time.
