I tried to download Firefox but instead it has given me a blank page with a black box in the middle with catagories listed as such; Indefinite Art

I want to delete or get rid of this intrusion & continue getting my Firefox confirmed for use.

Did you get your Firefox from Mozilla.org ?

You may have ad / mal-ware. Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.
