why is my firefox icon slowly turning green?
The firefox icon on the bottom bar went slowly green, from left to right, then changed back to grey once it reached the right side. I've never noticed it doing that before and am wondering what/if anything happened? Assuming I haven't been invaded by little green men or the fbi or similar, I'm not worried, but I'd like to understand...

That is the progress indicator. It shows you how complete your download is.
