Drag and drop. Open the address book window. Make sure the Directory Pane is showing View-Layout-Directory Pane Select the address book you are moving the contact FROM so it displays in the main window. Select the contact or contacts to move. Hold the control key while clicking contacts to select more than one. Drag the contacts to the folder of the new book and drop them there.

That did NOT solv my problem, but I found out by intuition what the problem was: there was no more space in the email-list. After I deleted some posts, I could again drag and drop like you suggest.

But there is aparantly a limit with about 80 post in one list.
