I have a sync key from when I first signed up but do not remember the email or password I used.

Sorry, that Sync Key is of no value with any version after Firefox 28; plus you would need the email addy and your password, along with that "key", if you were still using the old Sync account on older version of Firefox.

And without the email addy or password for a later version of Firefox where the Sync Key is no longer used, you can't connect to Sync to recover your data.
