Unable to resolve the issue of tabs restore which caused due to fresh auto rollout of the latest version! The backup files are all empty but size of the backup file does say that it may contain some information; even in MBs but the file is just empty altogether!!!!!

The further add-on development not necessarily closely follows a new release of Firefox.

Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problem.

See "Creating a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over the problem

Thanks cor-el.

Actually as per my vague information shared earlier, the best technical resolutions presented here in forums; were all tried and i was of opinion that my issue and concern was with technical team (over here at firefox) to check that either this issue is directly related to the new rollout of the latest version or else.

So we may can save the headache of other people if it is so!

Regards,
