Yahoo hijacked my browser and nothing works to get rid of it, please fix or i and my friends start using other browsers.
As the sentence says, Im getting so fed up with this yahoo sh**. And that (i know your not responsible) you seem to do nothing about it, but giving advice that doesnt work or help. So please do something quick or a lot of other people will start switching browsers....

What is the problem, the yahoo change your home page?
or go to about:config page, search for browser.startup.homepage, change its value to a link that you want, or to about:home(default) or about:blank(blank page)
Please, give more information about the problem
i was at it for days, and used all tips even after reinstalling firefox completely yahoo still hijacks my homepage. I think frustrated doesnt even start to cover it anymore....
Did you already check your addons? Sometimes some addon can be the problem
Did you scann your PC?
Did already try reset Firefox?
I saw some people that said the Advanced System Care have a option to protect the Home Page, maybe help you

(1) If the home page in the settings dialog is being ignored when you click the Home button or open a new window using Ctrl+n, an extension is the most likely culprit. Open the Add-ons page using either:
- Ctrl+Shift+a
- orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. The one that is modifying your home page may not have Yahoo anywhere in its name, so disable everything nonessential or unrecognized.
(2) If you change the home page and it sticks for the rest of your session when you click the Home button or open a new window using Ctrl+n, but changes back when you exit and restart Firefox, check for a user.js as described in this article: How to fix preferences that won't save.
(3) If you get Yahoo! any time you click the Firefox icon on your desktop or task bar, but not when you click the Home button or open a new window using Ctrl+n, check your shortcut to see whether it was "hacked".
Right-click > Properties > Shortcut tab, the Target (for 64-bit Windows) should be the following, no more, no less:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"
