Hello tinalawson-butts,
If yo want privacy for your pics and images on your android device then go to Google play store and Download an App called AppLock. It will provide you privacy for other apps too.
Be aware of where your photos are stored. If they are on a removable microSD card, then they might not be as well protected as if they are in internal memory, since locking or encrypting data in your phone might not include the microSD card.
