How can I stop Xmarks from reinstalling tons of bookmark folders I've deleted?

I've deleted lots of bookmarks and bookmark folders, but each time I do, within a few hours the old deleted ones are back again. I keep getting popup messages saying that Xmarks notices that I've sync'd with another computer but that should not cause any problems even if it were true (which it currently is not - haven't used my other computer recently).

You should check with Xmarks's author for support. Here's their help page: http://www.xmarks.com/about/help
