Strange graphical artifacts behind profile images on new profile selector
My profile images have weird graphical issues behind the profile images. I don't find anyone else mentioning this but I am sure I am not the only one. What can I do to fix this, it is very annoying.

That's intended as a part of the design.
How can that be part of the design?!? What is it supposed to be? Why did Mozilla feel the need to add these shapes behind the profile images?
People who answer questions here, for the most part, are other users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or developers.
