I can’t put the Adblock on iOS and I don’t know why

I’ve been trying for an hour, or so, to put an Adblock on Firefox on an iPhone but it doesn’t work and I don’t know why I asked many times at my friends that too have Firefox but they say they are on androids phones and they don’t know how to do on iOS. I hate iPhones

Hi

This support article was written for Firefox for iOS, but applies equally to Focus for iOS -

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/add-ons-firefox-ios

It is also worth appreciating that Focus on Android does not have add-ons - it is a much simpler browser designed for quick searches.

Hi there! 👋 Unfortunately, Firefox for iOS doesn’t support ad‑blocking extensions due to Apple’s restrictions—only Safari allows content blockers. You can read more about this limitation here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1316803

Instead, you can:

  • Use Firefox Focus, which blocks ads and trackers by default.
  • Turn on Enhanced Tracking Protection in Firefox for iOS Settings → Privacy.

Hope that helps!
