Cannot print attachment through Thunderbird

When I receive an attachment in an email, I have the option of opening it, in this case a PDF. Then the attachment is properly displayed, and one of the options given is to print the attachment. When I select print, I get a progress gif that just continues to spin; nothing gets printed. I can open the PDF with Adobe and print it so I know the PDF file is intact.

Please supply some info: What OS are you using? What version of Thunderbird are you using? Where did you get the Thunderbird installation eg: Snap, Flatpak, Windows app store or the official Thunderbird download website ? What printer are you using? Does the printer work for all othe types of attachment eg: just a pain for pdf?

In Thunderbird Tools > Developer Tools > Error Console Clear the error console Then try to do a print of pdf attachment. When it fails - look in the Error Console Post an image of what it says.
