I tried to respond to a thread that is already running but could not get in. I also try to move letters from Trash or other folder back to Inbox or elsewhere and they disappear. I have iMAP from Charter, as someone else had. I thought I had POP. It apparently has been changed. Is that the problem? All of this started when I switched from Windows to iMAC.

I do not know if I will receive a notice of response. Thunderbird just sent me an email which never arrived. So, will anything else arrive.
