i updated my firefox and when i went onto youtube, i found that the video player had downgraded to its old, original form with the bar under the video, does anyone know how to get it back to its most recant state?

Firefox does not control websites. Youtube's change is not part of our problem. Please contact Youtube for this reason. Thank You!

Maybe because you have an old Flash Gnash plugin (Shockwave Flash 10.1 r999.Gnash)

Update the Flash plugin to the latest version for Linux (11.2.202.270)
