Why so slow?

sfurr74

I have become increasingly disappointed with firefox. Each successive upgrade has resulted in slower downloads. Especially video downloads. I had begun using internet explorer to download videos with your version 4 upgrade. 5 is even worse.

When I attempted to submit feedback (3 diferent times on 2 diferent devices), either the submit button did not work, or web page not available.

This is unacceptable. I have used firefox exclusively for a few years. A web site I need to use at work will not work with any version of firefox. I have switched to Google Chrome. I will uninstall firefox from my computer.

If you would like to have another go at Firefox . . .

See the list of the Top Ten Contributors - you can bet your life that their Firefoxes are working beautifully, as mine is. You shouldn't expect/accept anything less.

The problem is in your set-up not in Firefox. You could start by working your way through this(Safe Mode, Problematic Extensions etc) -

Make sure your plug-ins such as Flash are up-to-date -

Try disabling any third party toolbars.

All browsers have forums where users air their problems. Firefox is not unique.

All of the above doesn't take that long and I believe it to be worth it to have your Firefox in top condition.
