Other browsers support 8K resolution, but 8K HDR offers a maximum resolution of 4K for videos. That's why I can't test HDR. However, after testing every browser, I can say that Firefox is by far the most performant and compatible browser for Mac. Perhaps my 2019 Mac isn't sufficient for rendering. Thanks for your help. I'll leave any necessary feedback on the bug page.
