Thunderbird will not send emails

SuMo Bot

I have a new computer. I installed Thunderbird 78.14 and restored my settings and mail from a backup. I am able to receive email but clicking the SEND button when composing a new message does nothing - no error and it does not send. When I reply to a message, the SEND button is not available.

I do not have any antivirus loaded and I have turned off all the firewalls and the SMTP settings and passwords are the same between the two machines but the old one will send and the new one does not.

I have attached screenshots showing the greyed out send button on the REPLY to an email as well as my firewall screen.

Help would be much appreciated

It should be active as long as a recipient is entered. Does File/Send Now or Ctrl+Enter work? Does it work in safe mode (hold Shift when launching TB)?
