Sound functionality does not reappear after restoring session
Sound functionality in Firefox 60.0.1 (64bit) on Windows 10 running as a VM on Hyper-V does not reappear normally when I restore the Windows session. If I have Firefox opened when I save the Windows session, instead of shutting down the OS, after resuming the OS there is no sound in Firefox. There is, however, sound in other programs and browsers.

In Firefox Safe mode these changes are effective:
- all extensions are disabled (about:addons)
- default theme is used (no persona)
- userChrome.css and userContent.css are ignored (chrome folder)
- default toolbar layout is used (file: localstore-safe.rdf)
- Javascript JIT compilers are disabled (prefs: javascript.options.*jit)
- hardware acceleration is disabled (Options > Advanced > General)
- plugins are not affected
- preferences are not affected
TEST''''is issue still there ?
Sound functionality works fine in other browser, for example Edge, after resuming the Windows session. I cannot speak to the VMware issue because I use Hyper-V.
What happens in Safe Mode please ?
