I need to delete a bookmark. This is not always possible for some reason. I need to know how to delete a bookmark when the prompt or choice does not show up on the Bookmarks tab.

Single click on what you don't want. If there are others as well, (Windows) hold down the <Control> key and single click them as well. After, press the <Delete> key. Macs may be a bit different.
