We updated the favicon for this website: https://www.mckinneytaxservices.com/ and it appears correctly in the page tab. It is an "M". When we save the page in favorites on Mozilla it saves an Alligator icon. Hostgator is our hosting company and this is their icon. This is a Mozilla issue because if we dave the page in Chrome browser the correct "M" favicon is saved. Im so tired of seeing an alligator favicon with our tax website. I already deleted history and cookies and cache in Mozilla. Still there.

Whats up with this Mozilla??

Seems to be working here. I see the 'M' on the Tab bar and on the Bookmarks Toolbar if I create a bookmark (drag the tab to the toolbar).

I don't know how long it takes for a favicon to expire and forcing a new favicon doesn't seem easy.

You can remove all data stored in Firefox from a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History -> Show All History" or "View -> Sidebar -> History").

Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox from that domain like bookmarks and history and cookies and passwords and cache and exceptions, so be cautious. If you have a password or other data from that domain that you do not want to lose then make sure to backup this data or make a note.

You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of involved files.

If you revisit a 'forgotten' website then data from that website will be saved once again.
