everytime i type in a website i get the error message "The connection was reset" ive done everything to try to fix this and none of it is working please help me

when i add https:// to the url it works but when i dont it says "The connection was reset" ive reset everything ive downloaded the latest browser and everything even cleared the catche and cookies and it still does it please help.

If the website works with a secure HTTPS connection, but not with an open HTTP connection then you will have to make sure the add the https:// prefix yourself if the website doesn't support HSTS like this forum does to force a secure connection.

It is possible that you have security software that blocks the connection, so check that as well.
