Why has my SMTP login that I have been using in Tbird for months quit working?
I have 3 pop accounts and 2 google accounts in Thunderbird that I have been using for months. All of a sudden, one of the pop accounts won't login when getting messages, even though I have changed nothing. I just updated my TB to the latest version, which made no difference. I get an error message like: SMTP Login failed, and then it gives me the option of using a new password. I put in the one that I know is correct, and I get the same error message again. In Thunderbird I went to Tools, Options, Security,Etc to check the saved passwords. They are all listed correctly. Does anybody know what the problem might be? Thanks,

SMTP is for sending, but you say you're trying to connect to a POP server to fetch your incoming messages.
Please post your settings. Help|Troubleshooting Information. Clear "include account names", click "Copy text to clipboard", paste into your reply.
Hi Zenos, I guess I used the wrong terminology in my question. Thanks for the response. In the info below, Account 3 is the problem account. All the other accounts send and receive messages just fine as always. I appreciate any help you can offer.
