Won't print.T-Bird shows a print queue, but printer doesn't.Clear it?

I can't print TB messages. When I click print on a message in TB the "choose printer" form comes up but beneath the printer name is "Status: pending deletion: 2 documents waiting". I checked the printer queue but there are no documents waiting, so I think it is only in TB the documents are confused. I cannot see how to clear a printer queue in Thunderbird. Thanks ~

Thunderbird has no printer queue . It can barely print at all.
