I just downloaded Google Chrome and under bookmarks there is not a place to bookmark a page. how do i put one in there?????????

when i was using firefox by itself in the bookmark column there was a command to bookmark this page, but in google chrome in the bookmark column there is not a place to do it. how do i bookmark a page in google chrome???? can anybody help me!!!!!!??????
